After a lengthy hiatus Jennifer Lopez hoping make a dent on the music scene with new single ‘Louboutins’ (lifted from new album ‘Love?’) which premiered moments ago. Unfortunately for Ms. Jenny From The Block, this cut is…well…not cutting it. Repetitive lyrically and showing little in the way of vocal growth (something which IMO was necessary for Jennifer coming out this go round), the Tricky Stewart produced track’s only worthwhile offering is it’s stellar production which screams epic and ‘I’m back’. It such a shame that the rest of the track doesn’t.
Hearing this has me wondering what exactly is going on with her team, as the previously heard ‘Hooked On You’ was the epitome of fire on a track and a sure hit had it been released. In any case, whose to say this won’t be a grower (the ‘hook’, though redundant is quite catchy), particularly after her upcoming performance at the American Music Awards this Sunday.
Sam, ugggh! She better remix this and fast. This song is a bit dreary. The hook is repetitive but it doesn’t pack a punch. I much prefer Janet’s Make Me to this. Even that dumb, Fresh out the Oven was a bit better.

I think the song is HOT! Although, it is a lot slower than I would expect from her as a comeback track. As far as the words go with the redundancies and whatnot, WHO LISTENS TO WORDS THESE DAYS?? People listen for the beat first. If they can dance to it, they like it. People listen to the words after they have danced to the song a few times…you know, after it’s already in their system and stuck in their minds… So KEEP IT UP Jennifer! She has my vote!! CHEERS TO JENNIFER ‘LOLA’ LOPEZ!!!!

I want Jennifer back musically, that is, but if THIS is what she’s performing on Sunday she doesn’t have to worry about being remembered. This crap is horrible. I liked “Hooked On You” but oh, well………

Ok I know I’m totally wak 4askin but wot is ‘louboutins’ ??? I’d really like to know lol… I’ve heard it in other songs so I would take a guess thats its maybe some kinda glam hood accessory? Bout the song, I think its a grower. But yes sam I aggree with wot u said bout ‘hooked on you’ LOVED that trak, hope its on the album!
