Cissy Houston Opens Up About Whitney’s Passing

Published: Monday 2nd Apr 2012 by Rashad

Hard to believe it’s nearly been two months since the music world lost ‘The Voice’, pop icon Whitney Houston.  And while fans continue to grieve, inarguably, no two people were affected more by the loss than Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina and her mother Cissy.

Always very vocal about the closeness of each relationship respectively with the ‘I Will Always Love You’ singer, Bobbi K. took to Oprah last month to update fans on her status.  But, while niece Dionne Warwick has kept viewers in the loop on Cissy’s well-being, Whitney’s mom has been mum from the time surrounding and following the singer’s death…until now.

For the first time in a televised showing, the diva’s mother tells all in a revealing, yet touching interview.  See it all after the jump:

I hope Cissy makes it through this. She sees so strong but I know she’s hurting.

Yaaawwwn, I didn’t learn anything in that interview other than Cissy was receiving checks worldwide. Hmm. I wonder if she used them to pay for the funeral. Other thing is Gospel Fest is in Newark this year. Normally it’s in NYC. Wonder if they changed it for her. Hmm. Notice she shys away from Krissi and Nick. YALL KNOW SHE CAN’T STAND THAT PATHETIC RELATIONSHIP!

This is a strong, GOD fearing woman! Seeing her hold up this well makes me feel better. God Bless Her and the entire Houston Family!

May God bless Cissy. She’s a strong woman. I’m glad she spoke out against the media and about the rumors. The media really mistreated Whitney. It’s funny how Cissy mentioned those people that came out to speak on her daughter that haven’t talked to the family in 20 years. I saw them popping up and was wondering myself what did any of them have to do with Whitney. Anyway, I love her mom’s spirit!

    R.I.P Whitney!
