Buoyed by a prominent sample of JAY-Z‘s classic ‘PSA,’ rapper DaBaby makes a public service announcement of his own with the new ‘Reintroduction‘ freestyle.

“Billboard helped me out and raised they hand / But f-ck it, n-gga, I ain’t tripping / Lookin’ back, I wouldn’t have raised my hand neither / Now that I know that these n-ggas ain’t cut like me.” he raps in the performance clip.

As the heat around the backlash from DaBaby‘s homophobic remarks cools, the GRAMMY nominee is looking to redirect attention to his music by unveiling a series of freestyles over the instrumentals of some of today’s biggest Urban hits.

Having already laid bars over the beats of WizKid‘s ‘Essence’ and BIA‘s ‘Whole Lotta Money’ (as we reported here), DaBaby (born Jonathan Kirk) returned Thursday (September 2) with a take on MoneyBagg Yo‘s ‘Wockesha.’

“Sh*t, I was just warming up / Gettin’ ’em hot / So my second year in, I done figured it out,” he raps on the track. “You know ain’t no pressure on nothing / You do what you want when you poppin’.”

That’s not all he said. Hop inside to hear the song in full and watch its accompanying music video.

DaBaby is trying to work his way down redemption’s road.

Despite ongoing backlash stemming from controversial homophobic comments he made in July, the rapper’s looking to quell the public fallout via a series of apologies, new partnerships with HIV/AIDS advocates and education centers, and more.

On the musical front, DaBaby’s unveiled a number of freestyles set to the tune of current Hot 100 hits. His latest comes courtesy of a take on WizKid’s summer 2021 megahit, ‘Essence.’

Despite a series of apologies to acknowledge the backlash that resulted from his making derogatory remarks about gay men and people living with HIV, DaBaby is ensuring critics know they shouldn’t look to him for further remorse or regret.

After stoking the flames of the drama by playfully suggesting he would become an R&B singer due to ‘being canceled’ (click here to read more about that), the rapper (born Jonathan Kirk) took to the stage of Hot 97’s Summer Jam to speak on the ongoing hoopla.

Now, he’s addressing it again – this time via the music video for his new song ‘Whole Lotta Money (Freestyle).’

Thanks to the #JunebugChallenge, SpotemGottem’s song ‘Beat Box’ became a viral sensation last month – even cracking the Hot 100 in the process.

To hop on the wave of the tune’s popularity, chart-topping rapper DaBaby not only recorded a freestyle to its beat but also shot a music video to said freestyle.

“Shout out to Spotem We got em/Even though he a rapper he shot em/I’m too pretty I get the smile from my mama/Got this voice from my daddy and I learned how to pimp on them h*es from my uncle/Let her suck on my toes because she nasty,” DaBaby spits on the fiery track.

DaBaby turns all the way up in his latest music video ‘GRAMMY Party.’

The 8x GRAMMY nominee’s second drop over the last month following the February-released ‘Reintroduction (Freestyle),’ ‘Party’ lives up to its title courtesy of an accompanying clip that sees the rapper getting down in the house with his kids.

“I seen Baby posted at the Grammy party with a stick,” he raps on the Julia Lewis-produced bop before saying, “I got too much bread to do the talking, get you / I got too much bread to do that talking, get you hit / And I can tell her everything about me, I’m a pimp.”

With serious criminal charges hanging over Tory Lanez‘s head, one would assume the star had enough heat on his hands.

However, the 29-year-old – who stands accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion – had ample time to tweet what appears to be a response to the drama drenching his friend DaBaby in the wake of the shocking homophobic comments made at Rolling Loud Miami.

And after catching flack (and possibly a case) for joining the embattled rapper on-stage, Lanez is rising to his defense.

Hopping to a Hot 100 peak of #15 this week, Rap newcomer SpotemGottem is enjoying the fruits of planting one of the year’s most viral hits thanks to his tune, ‘Beatbox.’

As if it wasn’t already popular enough thanks to the Tik Tok-driven #JuneBugChallenge, ‘Beatbox’ was given a big boost after chart-topping rapper DaBaby blessed it with a controversial freestyle (click here to hear).

Now, the cut’s being spun via a female perspective delivered courtesy of Mulatto.

“I’ve been killing features / I’m on everything like hot sauce / So don’t act like I ain’t been that bitch since I popped off,” boasts the burgeoning Rap diva.

T hat’s just what viewers get in the new Reel Goats-directed clip, which includes scenes of the duo rolling in shopping carts, ghost riding SUVs (with a trunk full of marijuana), and so much more.
