Chockfull of homages to Pop royal Janet Jackson‘s iconic 1986 ‘Pleasure Principle’ music video, Coi Leray lifted the lid on the accompanying clip for her latest single ‘Can’t Come Back.’

Directed by Dragan Andic, the visual sees Leray reflect on the woes of a troubled relationship while showing off some pretty provocative dance moves at the gym.

“That’s why I had to kick him to the curb / The love is turning, the hate is getting worse,” she raps on the Melz & Truebeatzz-produced jam. “It’s alright cause you live and then you learn / Tables won’t always turn / Just go ahead, let that b-tch burn.”

Coi Leray‘s self-proclaimed “grown and sexy” era continues with the sizzling new song ‘Can’t Come Back.’

First previewed during her rousing showing at this year’s Coachella, Leray has finally lifted the lid on the tune’s recorded version.

“Kicked him to the curb, he can’t come back / That’s why I had to kick him to the curb (That’s why) / The love has turned to hate, it’s getting worse (Yeah) / It’s alright ’cause you live and then you learn / Tables won’t always turn (Yeah),” she says on the Melz-produced jam.

The follow-up to the January-released ‘Wanna Come Thru,’ ‘Can’t’ marks the second taste of what fans can expect from Coi’s anxiously awaited third studio album ahead of its arrival later this year.

With a new record label to call home, Coi Leray is ready to take 2024 by storm as evidenced by new song ‘Wanna Come Thru.’

Kicking off her partnership with Island Records, Leray says the new Mike Will Made-It-produced jam also kicks off her “grown and sexy” stage.

“[This year] is going to be my grown and sexy era. I’m taking over this year,” Coi relayed about ‘Wanna.’ “Grown and sexy means being so in love with yourself — that it is one of the most sexiest, maturest, grownest things that a woman can do.”

A year after fans first became acquainted with her R&B-flavored cut ‘Wasted,’ hitmaking rapper Coi Leray is reintroducing the song via a holiday-inspired live performance music video.

Having previously referred to herself as her generation’s “Queen of Versatility,” the GRAMMY nominee is backing the claim up in the TaylorHill-assisted visual that sees her showcasing a surprisingly strong vocal display into a vintage microphone while lying on a piano.

“You was sellin’ me heaven but givin’ me hell, that’s a fatal attraction / You was givin’ me hope, you just killin’ me slow, it’s a silent assassin / Yeah, gave you love and passion / Not once did I imagine it’d be wasted,” she croons on the captivating track.

Nearly 7 months after watching her hit ‘Players‘ become her inaugural Hot 100 top 10 hit following months of blowing up on Tik Tok, Coi Leray is giving the Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five-sampling song another play at the chart’s upper rankings by unleashing its official music video.

Having already turned heads with their remix of the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hit ‘Players‘ earlier this year, Busta Rhymes and Coi Leray join forces again – this time creating magic for his latest single ‘Luxury Life.’

“We ain’t talkin’ about that coward boo, ’cause you my lil sis so don’t turn that p-ssy into sour fruit,” raps Busta on the Swizz Beatz-produced cut.

Coi Leray may have seen her latest LP, the June 23-released ‘COI,’ premiere at her lowest position yet on the Billboard 200 (#102), but that hasn’t stopped the rising rapstress from pushing forward with its promotion.

After blessing fans with the album’s cuts Body,’ ‘Bops,’ ‘Get Loud, and the Hot 100 top 10 hit ‘Players,’ the 26-year-old is hoping fans will press play on the LP’s latest single – ‘Make My Day‘ featuring internationally renown DJ David Guetta.

“We going off on this b-tch like a siren / Tupac baby ’cause you know I’m a rider / and hot like a sauna, man, I’m hot like lava,” she raps on the track also produced by Guetta.

Until Coi Leray gets an answer from her fellow chart-topping female rappers about remaking Lil Kim‘s ‘Ladies Night’ to score 2023’s first Hip-Hop Hot 100 #1 hit, it looks like she’s moving ahead by her lonesome on the journey.

Just days ahead of the delivery of her self-titled sophomore album (due on digital shelves June 23), Leray has lifted the lid on yet another of the LP’s gems – ‘Run It Up.’

Coi Leray may still be enjoying the Hot 100 top 40 run of ‘Players’ (her biggest single to date) long after the tune’s commercial peak, but that hasn’t stopped her from looking to capitalize on that momentum with a follow up.

On April 27, the rising rapstress dropped two tracks‘My Body’ and ‘Bops.’ A month later, she’s lifted the lid on the official music video fro the latter.

A braggadocious track, the Trendsetter Studios-directed clip brings Leray’s lyrics to life as she sings the praises of her own career successes so far.

“I pull up, the show stops (uh) / They eyein’ like cyclops (what else?) / And these b-tches mad, they blame it on TikTok (vroom) / And these b-tches mad I got all of these big bops, hold on,” she spits on the Johnny Goldstein-produced cut.
