Buckingham Palace has issued a statement following the blockbuster interview Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had with Oprah Winfrey.
During the interview seen around the world, the couple opened up with claims about racist treatment and Markle’s suicidal thoughts after allegedly not being supported by “the firm.”
Many wondered whether the Royals would issue a response.
The answer arrived moments ago because a family statement was publicized moments ago…
“The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.
The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.”
The bombshell interview was watched by over 17 million in the US and 11 million in the UK. Huge audiences on both sides of the globe. And more countries have tallied high viewership too. All of which adds to the global dialogue about the couple and their treatment.
