In a shocking move, US gymnast Simone Biles has pulled out of the women’s team final at Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

The 24-year-old – who is one of the most successful gymnasts of all time – left the arena after registering her lowest score on the vault in her Olympics career.
She was bested by all three Russian rivals as well as the rest of Team USA.
And while little else is presently known about her predicament, a statement from reps cited a “medical issue.”
Biles is still scheduled to compete in the individual competition, after reaching all five finals. She’ll next take center-stage on Thursday.
A winner of four gold medals and a bronze at Rio 2016, Biles will attempt to become the first woman since 1968 to retain the all-around title.
