Earlier today (September 8), Buckingham Palace shocked the world with a statement relaying that The Queen’s wellbeing had taken a turn and that doctors were “concerned for Her Majesty’s health.”
Moments ago, it was formally announced that the beloved royal had passed away today.
A statement read:
The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.
