Dr. Umar may be renowned for saying his mind, but the cultural commentator has voiced his displeasure at those publicly celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk.
As reported, the right-wing political polarizer was assassinated at an event at Utah Valley University yesterday (September 10).
In life, the 31-year-old shared controversial views on race, gender identity, and religion – often sparking outrage.
Still, Umar – who labeled Kirk “an anti-Black bigot” – has condemned the jubilation coming from some corners.

Taking to Instagram, Dr. Umar wrote:
“While I did not agree with Mr. Kirk’s rhetoric, and considered him to be an anti-Black bigot, I will never rejoice at the loss of life of anyone who hasn’t directly participated in the unaliving of a member of the Black Afrikan race. I am ashamed to see members of my community celebrating this situation.
I will never ask you to mourn the loss of an enemy of our race, but to celebrate an unaliving is completely unacceptable.
We know all to well that the greatest recipients of political assassinations in this country have been our own people. Stop laughing at the misfortunes of others and get prepared. Political assassinations have returned to the United States of America, courtesy of the deep state.”

I can’t help but reflect on how EXTREMELY LUCKY Trump was last year to have dodged a bullet and have his uncensored death documented for the world to see. The same ppl who are rejoicing are probably the same ppl who are saying that Trump Rally situation was staged. Ppl are going to keep PPL-ing, we need to get used to it, it’s called FREE WILL.
Trump dodged a bullet, literally, this other Bigot wasn’t so fortunate.
What I find to be way more shameful and extremely offensive is the fact that this man feels he has the right to single out and publicly chastise an entire race of people. The decedent was ok with considering gun violence victims as collateral damage for the right to bear arms and wasn’t too empathetic. We owe him nothing! Our apathy for him becoming the collateral damage that he so easily dismissed, is something he personally promoted.
Umar scammed the black community out of tens of thousands of dollars. He’s just as much an enemy of black society as Charlie. He can go hell
