The 32-year-old wide receiver (who shares a child with Cardi B) was found not guilty on all charges, including felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault and battery, following a tense trial at Dedham District Court. As the verdict was read aloud, Diggs reportedly broke down, with tears streaming down his face.
The jury reached its decision after roughly 90 minutes of deliberation, bringing the case to a swift and decisive close.
At the center of the case was Diggs’ former live-in chef, Jamila Adams, who alleged that he assaulted her during a dispute over money in December 2025. She claimed the incident left her unable to breathe.
However, her testimony drew scrutiny in court.
Adams was reportedly admonished multiple times by the judge while on the stand and faced questions over an alleged $5.5 million demand made ahead of trial. She also acknowledged there was no documented evidence of injuries following the alleged incident.
During closing arguments, Diggs’ legal team emphasized the lack of physical evidence, stating the claims were unsupported beyond Adams’ account.
His attorney later doubled down, calling the case an example of how high-profile athletes can be targeted.
The jury ultimately sided with Diggs, fully clearing him of all accusations.
