He made the shocking comment to the crowd:
“And lastly, Michelle Obama is a man. Am I right, America?”
The remark quickly sparked criticism online, with many calling out the spread of harmful misinformation on such a high-profile platform.
Even UFC boss Dana White reportedly distanced himself from the moment, condemning the attack; he told TIME:
