Controversial Kenya Moore is wasting no time chiming in on the “attack” she received at the hands of fellow ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ star Porsha Williams.

As widely reported (and watched), Williams quite literally dragged Moore to the floor during the reunion taping of the hit Bravo show.

With the episode at the center of the drama having aired on Sunday, the 43-year-old is weighing on the beat-down many on social media suggest was “deserved” due to her provoking ways.

Kenya’s words after the jump…

During the taping of the Reunion Episode for the Real Housewives of Atlanta, I was violently attacked by Porsha Williams. The episode, which aired tonight, Sunday, April 20, 2014, was taped in front of an audience of over 50 people, which included cast, crew, guests and executives, who served as witnesses. I called 911 to report the incident. The Atlanta police conducted an independent investigation, which included viewing the raw footage of the incident. As a result, Porsha Williams was charged with battery. The authorities will decide her fate, not me.

There are many inflammatory statements made by cast members to and about each other particularly during the reunion tapings. Many have made untrue, denigrating, disparaging, and inflammatory statements against me in an attempt to provoke me, but I have never reacted in a violent way. My intellect and my brain are my most powerful weapons—not my fists. If people get so angry that they lose control and admittedly “black out” and resort to violence, those persons must be held responsible for their actions. Being a cast member on a reality show does not absolve people of their rights.

After being repeatedly attacked by an abusive boyfriend at the age of 17, if someone puts their hands on me, I will not just let it go. With that said, I sought self-defense training developed for the Israeli military. I’ve also been trained in weapons. I can take someone down in three moves. It took discipline for me not to respond in kind. As violent responses escalate, they can quickly result in severe injury or even death.

Being the second Black woman to be crowned Miss USA, there are little girls who look up to me. I would never want those girls, my nieces, or my future children to see me fighting anyone. That’s the lesson we should all want to send, especially to young people—that no matter how angry someone makes you feel by what they say to or about you, violence is never an option. #stoptheviolence {Source}

Granted we’re not advocates for violence, Kenya’s antics are often unsavoury — hence it’s not at all easy to empathise with her. That said, she makes for great TV. Oh the conundrum.

Part two of ‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ airs this Sunday on Bravo.

    She makes it sound like Provoking someone is OK not everyone is gonna react the same one hitting or proving someone isn’t right! But Kenya would make anyone beat her ass I’m sorry she is so wrong and Kenya knows what she got herself into.

    You all fail to realize Kenya is an old school queen. Old school queens don’t lose their character. She fed Porsha the bait and she ate it all up. This was all a part of Kenya’s plan.

    I notice she also managed to slip in an explanation of why she got her ass beat in that ‘statement’. Okay boo boo, you trained with weapons and the Israeli military and still got dragged by itty bitty Porsha. Right, I believe you, ahuh. Like if you had a 10th of that training you wouldn’t have disabled Porsha and kept her from hurting you, no fighting necessary.

    She talked sht, she got hit, it happens when you act the fool.

    LMAO … Ms Kenya Moore, I don’t think I can love you Moore!

    In 2 years, you’ve been able to bring the drama and the ratings as you were expected too! You got a raise (and hopefully you’re getting another one for your third season) and you’re now on Celebrity Apprentice getting your own “Trump checks”! Way to go Miss Usa.

    Keep it going Ms Kenya, You too will end up on Dancing with the Stars or as a host on a talk show. For your third (and maybe last?) season on RHOA, please tone it down (not too much though) with the other ladies and focus on your business ventures (hair products, fitness DVD and so on), hopefully you’ll also get to meet and marry your husband.

    We’re rooting for you! #TeamTwirl
