As the 2015 TV season draws nearer, the ABC renewals list appears to be the gift that keeps giving.
For having announced that ‘Scandal’ has been renewed up for a fourth season, the network have followed up with confirmed pick-ups for popular shows ‘Revenge’ and ‘Resurrection’.
Details after the jump…
Set to air its season three finale this Sunday, fans of soapy drama ‘Revenge’ will no doubt be breathing a sigh of relief. For, news of its solidified fourth season comes on the heels of so-so ratings and questionable storylines. Still, with producers promising big changes and a back-to-basics approach to its next outing, Emily Thorne‘s upcoming adventures may just be the most riveting yet.
Elsewhere, viewers of freshman series ‘Resurrection’ would be well advised to saddle up for season two of the show. Fronted by Omar Epps, the series took fans on a roller-coaster ride as it sought to uncover the mystery of “dead” relatives returning to the town of Arcadia. Having premiered to a huge audience of 13 million earlier this year, the show’s finale last week earned a respectable 9 million audience – a figure producers will no doubt hope to grow with its sophomore run.
Congratulations to both shows!
