In 2014, Harvey Weinstein has set his sights on Rita, vowing to turn her into one of Hollywood’s most bankable actresses after calling her his “biggest discovery this year.”
This, leading the star to take a trip to Los Angeles this week to continue talks with the movie maker, arriving at LAX with a close friend hours ago.
Harvey explained:
I will work with Rita again and again and again. Personally, I thinks she’s my biggest discovery as an actress this year.
Next year, the singer will star in the film adaptation of the E.L. James classic ‘Fifty Shades of Grey‘ and reportedly signed on to co-star in a project just as big alongside “one of the biggest names in the business” this year.

Wow she’s so desperate to become a star. Like I thought she was a singer? become successful in that before you hop onto the next thing.
Molly iggy couldn’t make it as a pop singer, so she jump to rap and got some success. so Rita is doing the same isn’t making it in her lane so she is jumping ship just like iggy,they all want to be a stars. so anywere they pop off they will stick to that, so your bias @ss should call out iggy too.
