She may have been enlisted to bring a breath of fresh air to the show, but it would seem all isn’t as it should be with Rosie Perez and ‘The View’, now reportedly set to part ways.

After only four months on “The View,” Rosie Perez is leaving the ABC morning show, Variety has learned.
Perez had taken off the month of January to appear in the Broadway play “Fish in the Dark,” but it’s understood that she won’t be coming back to the Hot Topics table once she’s done. It’s unclear when ABC will announce her departure, but for now “View” producers have been trying other younger co-hosts in her seat.
A rep for “View” denied that Perez would be leaving the show. “Her status with the show has not changed,” ABC said.
The choice of Perez was a surprise given the other contenders that were in the mix last year. But Perez never got a hang of the show’s mixture of hard and soft news, and she had trouble reading from a TelePrompTer, insiders say.

She needs to go along with that show. She always seemed nervous and had a hard time articulating herself.

Honestly I am still scripting my head at why they didn’t bring in Sunny Hostin if they wanted the Latina opinion on the show. Sunny is smart, was a great co-host, and she is likable. Oh well, their loss. Now talk of a cancel in the way, thats sad!
Rosie P. wasn’t good and blabbed, so its likely true. Rosie O. is such a bully and is a terrible panelist too. So unlikeable.

I think it should be a viable option for Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child. A lot of folks enjoyed her two guests spots on the panel.
I agree. I watched her on the show and I don’t normally like her as a person but I thought she bought a spark to that awfully dull show. Whoopi is interesting.. That political panelist is a*** and has limited input. Rosie. O, like it was mentioned, is not likable, a loud mouth, always pressed and highly ANNOYING
