As if last night’s explosive finale of ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ wasn’t enough, fans of the ABC hit can rejoice. Why? Because the Shondaland series has been renewed for a second season!
Press releases are pending, however following the airing of season one’s two-hour climax, the network screened the promo below, which included the statement: “Thank god we’ll be back with a whole new season of insanity”

‘Murder’, which is executive produced by ‘Scandal’ creator Shonda Rhimes, has been a ratings smash – regularly topping its 10pm time-slot since its debut. Indeed, many have marvelled at its ability to maintain its buzz since blasting off last Fall with viewership of 14 million. Its renewal (which was widely expected) comes after lead Viola Davis, who plays defence attorney/lecturer Annalise Keating, teased season two:
