FOX smash ‘Empire’ is back for a second season and is playing no games!
The music-drama serves up a super-charged package of sass, drama, glamor, and jaw-dropping storylines revolving around the Lyon family – anchored by Luscious (Terrence Howard) and Cookie (Taraji P. Henson).

Watched last night. Chris Rock is not a thug, not happening. Anika – well – the booty shaking and sleeping with Marissa was bad writing.
Jamal, is over-rated – and those vocals are poor. He’s the wrong choice for this role, he does not have the natural vocal talent or acting ablity to bring life to role.

Sorry but I think this show has lost its magic touch.. It was too much going on and it’s gone ratchet… Disappointment probably won’t continue watching it..
the show has always been over the top, it’s a soap opera. but it’s never been ratchet. what happened in the premiere wasn’t nearly as over the top as all of last season. They touched on serious and current issues in America. clearly you watch for the drama or you’d know that. You don’t like it whatever, but stop being a hater, when you don’t know a message story when you see one. Insulting something you know nothing about cause it’s flashy enough for you. that’s just lame. sorry not sorry.
Too many guest stars they can’t dig deep into the story because they are distracted with giving all these stars jobs. This is becoming a clown show and they need new writers. It has the potential to be special but the premier was lackluster
If something as miniscule as cameos easily distract you, that makes no sense but it’s your issue, that’s on you. Instead of being a hater just watch something that has a story easier for you to pay close attention to.
