Tamar Braxton is continuing to diversify her media portfolio.
The singer, talk show host, and reality star has just been announced as the newest addition to the 21st season of ABC’s ‘Dancing With The Stars.’

Braxton, whose new album ‘Calling All Lovers’ is still due to hit stores on September 11th, has been teamed with dancer Val Chmerkovskiy. Other stars set to feature on this instalment of the show are Chaka Khan, Kim Zolciak, and Backstreet Boy Nick Carter.
I wonder……could she really dance? Whats the purpose of this? I wish she promoted this album like she did her last album because she’s all over the place so early in her career instead of focusing and trying to well established her craft. Is she trying to be a singer? Tv show host? Professional dancer?
She’s 38 and singing R&B in 2015. Her career as a singer is not going to rise any further. At this point if it’s an opportunity to raise her overall profile and brand to a different audience, it’s a good look.
This is going to be good for her.. More exposure to a bigger audience. They are going to love her personality. Saying things like she don’t do that and come here pumpkin lol
I really CANNNOT take Tamar serious. She wants to be everywhere and do everything and is NOT good at none. Her live performances are a mess and that why most people consider her a studio singer. Too much exposure will help no one if you are not good at what you do , people get over you real quick and will consider her a joke. She is doing all these things not for the love it but for the ATTENTION and to say I doing it all when she is really an amateur of everything. Its the simple FACT!

I think this makes since. DWTS will teach her how to perform. Now all she’d need to do is get a vocal coach/work with Frank Gatson and id actually become a fan of hers.
