Love ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’?

Admire the late singer Celia Cruz?

If so you’l be pleased to lear that stories about these two have been shaken (or stirred) to create the latest edition of That Grape Juice‘s ‘Screen Juice.’

Drink up below…

The forthcoming season of Bravo’s ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ will mark the first that airs without the actress NeNe Leakes standing tall as its leading lady.

However, this fact has done little to silence reports that she may return to the show mid-season as her latest TV project reportedly wraps before ‘Atlanta’ does.

What she told CBS when they asked her about this?

I love Bravo! They love me — I have a great relationship with Andy Cohen (executive producer). Everybody over there loves me. We all have a good relationship. I started the show and I’d go back whenever I felt like going back. I just don’t ever want to say never.

Her departure from the show after its seventh season came after questionable production moves allegedly made by one of its producers Carlos King (‘Hollywood Divas‘) served as one of many reasons she decided not to return for another spin on the show’s cycle.

King, a close friend of Leakes’ on-camera nemesis Kenya Moore, parted ways with the series before its latest reunion aired and gave fans good reason to believe a feud with the ‘Glee’ star lay at the heart of his decision when he returned after she announced that she was leaving.

In 2014 they unleashed the ratings-pulling monster that was ‘Empire.’

In 2015, Fox have announced that Fox Telecombia is hard at work on a TV series which tells the story of the late Cuban-American entertainer Celia Cruz.

The series will premiere in February 2016 and follow the life of Ms. Cruz who battled racism and poverty rose to become one of the world’s most celebrated Latin American artists.

Keen to celebrate her African ancestry Cruz recorded many songs in the Nigerian language Yoruba and performed in the continent many times throughout her career.

Billboard adds:

To support Celia, Sony, which owns a large chunk of her catalog, is planning an 18-month marketing campaign that will include re-recording some of Cruz’s signature songs — including “La Negra Tumbao,” which is the series’ theme song — featuring Cruz’s vocals together with those of guest artists.

Those looking forward to the project will be pleased to learn that its opening episode will be made available to view on YouTube and Facebook before the story continues on the Telemundo network.

Kelly Rowland should play Celia Cruze. She is doing a phenomenal job on Empire.

I don’t think her throat can take some more diick……. I can’t imagine the amount of diicks she sucked for Empire…….

Her role on Empire has been very minor from what I’ve seen so far and hasn’t really involved much acting.
