Serena Williams has made history slaying tennis courts the world over and now she’s taking the same approach with her magazine covers.
The bat swinging icon appears a-front of Sports Illustrated‘s newest cover – celebrating her title of “sportsperson of the year.”
It’s an honor more than deserved; for, despite losing out on the much-touted Grand Slam, the 34-year-old nabbed a number of wins this year, including the Wimbledon championship this Summer.
More power to her. Undeniably, one of the greats.
