Starring ‘Star Wars‘ actor John Boyega the release was initially set for a 2014 release date and was shot before the actor became a household name via the aforementioned movie’s latest chapter.
A new due date for ‘Dreams’ is yet to be set.

Although I’m sure it’s a great story, I’m tired of seeing black people only be seen by the masses through some ghetto ass story. Like we have so many more stories to tell. Like how come we can’t get movie about Nat Turner’s rebellion. How about that?
Is this the only genre my people can do????? This is exactly why theres no diversity in the industry….. These writers and producers are so stuck in the past. Give our great black actors roles that are actually progressive and worth it.
Where are the big budget fantasy films with a divers cast…. Is it that hard to green light those types of projects?
