Congrats Gaga and Sam Smith! I really wanted Idris to win in one of his categories as a clapback for the Bond situation, but two mom’s is amazing. I’m happy for Jon Hamm as well.

Congrats to Lady Gaga. Her critical acclaim is being huge on all fronts. When will pretty much all the others? Included all those supposed (basic) triple-whatever girls? 🙂

Surprised The Revenant won though. Reviews have been far from the best of the year. But don´t expect pretty much any of these winners to repeat at the oscars and the other awards this season. Golden Globes are a little bit special and like some particular people. For example they gave another one to Kate Winslet although it´s been a long while since the last time she was seriously considered for any other award.
Personally, the top film of the year was Mad Max. But it is really difficult for a blockbuster to make it to these type of awards, so the big nominations are really impressive already.
