The singer/actress, now best known for her oft-controversial opinion on ABC’s ‘The View,’ has been embroiled in negative press since her inclusion on the show. Lending comments on race (see: being from every ‘continent in Africa and Europe’ & not being ‘African American’) to sexuality and more, the youngest of the ‘View’ clan has seen her views under constant scrutiny.
Often slammed for their stupidity lack of accuracy, the songbird-turned-talk show host has hit yet another sour note when she took to the show recently to declare she’d leave the country if a Republican candidate is nominated for U.S. presidency.
You read that right…”nominated,” not elected. Le sigh…

That’s not what she said though. Raven didn’t say she would leave if a republican is elected. She said she would leave if a republican was nominated. A republican candidate is nominated EVERY election term. That’s why people are dragging her, because she’s a moron. I still haven’t figured out if she’s truly stupid or just looking for attention. It just seems convenient that as soon as the talk about her dies down, she says something else crazy.
It’s a mix of both. Raven is an attention seeker but she’s also genuinely stupid and misguided. Surely she can’t be stupid enough to buy an actual ticket to Canada, even though she doesn’t have Canadian citizenship? I think she’s trying to be funny and get attention, but the general public are sick of her shenanigans.
