‘Hidden Figures‘ tells the true tale of African-American mathematicians whose work for NASA during the Civil Rights movement was buried by historians.
Taraji P. Henson was the first of the three aforementioned entertainers to join the project and welcomed Spencer and Monae to honour Katherine Johnson, Mary Jackson, Dorothy Vaughan, Kathryn Peddrew, Sue Wilder, Eunice Smith and Barbara Holley.
‘Shakespeare in Love’ creative Donna Gigliotti is producing the 20th Century Fox release which will launch its production in a matter of weeks.
‘Figures’ makes its way to theatres on January 13, 2017.

Watching her start from where she came to now is phenomenal. A great representation of “hard work”. And shes just so humble about it. When she played in the movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”, I knew then this was not the end for her. Congratulations Taraji P!
I’m so happy for Janelle Monae. I might not be a fan of her music but I can’t deny her talent. I hope she can have a song included on the film’s soundtrack.
