Will Smith‘s contributions to the world of film haven’t gone unnoticed by MTV.

To support the release of his new movie ‘Suicide Squad’ Will be presented with the ‘Generation’ award at this year’s MTV Movie Awards.
Hosted by Kevin Hart and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, the ceremony will see Will honoured by his peers (Charlize Theron and Chris Hemworth included) after his role in the movie ‘Concussion’ was slammed and snubbed by critics and the Academy Awards committee respectively.
Will Smith is our MTV Generation Award recipient.
When I first broke into Hollywood 15yrs ago, all I wanted to do was learn the business and put in the hard work to have a career like his. It’s a real privilege to honor you my friend.

For what? hopefully his steller film career which has fallen off badly in the last 5 years. But he needs a Razzie award for raising two of the STRANGEST children in hollyweird. They both straight CRAZY.
