Kelly Rowland‘s BET series ‘Chasing Destiny’ reaches a major milestone tonight!
After putting the hopefuls through their paces and whittling down the candidates to ten, this evening’s episode sees the singer and partner Frank Gatson reveal who’ll make their girl group.
The stakes are incredibly high, with a record contract from Epic Records on the table.

I’m not a fan of Khylah either. Gabby should be a solo artist. Other than that, I’m losing interest. The show has dragged this process out. Like, how “real” can you make a manufactured group seem/appear. What’s really real is that they’re probably gonna get a s**** contract, make an album or two, then disband.

The show has gotten rave reviews… The show was shot docuseries style so its nothing like a reality show! Exactly what Kelly wanted! U also cant predict the outcome of a group that have not even been anounced to the world yet! Give these girls a fair chance b4 judging them! Kelly wanted to create an all blk girl group to compete against 5th Harmony. The goal is for all the girls to eventually to go on and thrive after the group has disbanded just like Destinys Child members.

Well, after Kelly ran to Jennifer (the only whyte girl) and said that she was going to let her go but make a group around her i lost interest in this musical charade

The main presenter of this show is Kelly Rowland and Beyonce or her hive play no part so I’m confused.
If you’ve watched Making the Band before it was a bit like when Puff Daddy gave Donnie a solo contract because he didn’t fit the ‘image’ of Day26.

Was I the only one confused with them for taking that other girl out specifically because they wanted an all-black group? If this was their thinking all along then why even bring that girl into the process and then give her preferential treatment on the grounds of her race. To say they wanted black female empowerment, but then fast-track another girl seems counterproductive.

Well any and every one knows that if the person seeking talent is black then that’s really what they are looking for pple who look like them. Kelly is trying to bring back the 90 s when Rnb female and male black singers/groups/solo was so much more prevalent. She can’t show them the door if they are not blk, without at least giving them a chance. And I thin she saw something special in Jennifer who sang for her and Beys pal Kelly Clarkson. I’m would’ve been upset if she just let her go completely.
I think Kelly is so different till it ain’t funny. I get this unique vibe; it’s kind of sad we could never experience it. The look on her face says it all. You can’t replace you. G0d just bless her dearing heart.
Kelly is so beautiful but no one cares about this phony group. I saw two episodes and all of the girls were cookie cutter.

Irrelevant. All of the girls were average singers with no true star quality. Most didn’t even know how to harmonize. I said what I said.

The show is pretty cool but I got a feeling about the group of the girls and I know two of those girl from the group. One of them have a YouTube channel. The final is next Tuesday can’t wait to see how it turn out for those young women that made the groups on the show
