Shemar Moore’s departure from ‘Criminal Minds‘ has spelled good news for his fellow thespian Adam Rodriguez.

Impressed by his run on CBS’ ‘CSI Miami’, ‘Criminal’s producers enlisted Rodriguez to fill the alpha male shaped void left by Moore by welcoming him to their cast.
This sees him return to the aforementioned network and bag another major role following his short yet important run on the FOX series ‘Empire.’
Who he’ll be playing in ‘Minds’?
The actor will play a special agent who is a member of the FBI Fugitive Task Force and joins the Behavioral Analysis Unit.

I never really watched Criminal Minds but when I saw it on rerun it was not bad. I really did like Adam Rodriguez on CSI: Miami, and liked that show when I caught it, so he should fit in with the show well.
The show is pretty good on the rerun.
