Cuba Gooding Jr has revealed that his time as O.J. Simpson impacted his psyche.

The ‘Fighting Temptations’ actor portrayed the athlete, who was accused of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Simpson, in the series ‘The People vs O.J Simpson: American Crime Story.’
This year, after the series came to an end, Gooding took to ‘The Hollywood Reporter’s star-friendly roundtable to reveal just how he was affected by the role.

Most people would of said the “Oscar winning actor”, not the “fighting temptations actor”, which coincidentally co-starred TGJ girl Beyonce!! Haha

I can’t believe out of all his movies, they said Fighting Temptations!! If there’s any movie he’s known for, it’s the classic Boyz in the Hood, or Jerry Maguire,where he won an Oscar. I agree with the acting
Only reason he is psychologically scarred is because he did a horrible job at it. If he did a good the show would have been better known for his role than for sarah Paulsons role.
Lol im ashamed to say that i actually liked the fighting temptations. Its a black star family comedy. Great gospel. It was very casual & ghetto like boyz to men dont be a menace & friday but just not violent & of the 2000s. It was ghetto bEy played a country bumpkin church w.hore very well… or not lol. Cuba was funny so was mike epps very witty script kinda under rated bet used to play it to death. the FUNERAL scene was LIT! I died laughing when bish hit the casket talmout WAKE UP! I had the soundtrack, saw it in theaters & still got the DVD. Bey looked a mess, reminded me a lot of lauren hill. When i think of cuba gooding i think of shadow boxer above all else, he was amazing in that one.
Cuba is one of those rare actors that doesnt have to try hard. He can play a clown just as easily as he can play a action hero vilan or assasin or gangster.
