Chadwick Boseman’s ‘Black Panther’ claws its way to theatres on February 16th 2018.
Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait until then to learn more about the exciting project.
For, its cast made its way to Comic-Con 2016 to tease the release following Lupita Nyong’O’s arrival to its Marvel-based set.

Ryan Coogler will direct the project following F. Gary Gray’s departure from it (he was enlisted to direct ‘Fast & Furious 8’) and will bring the story to life with help from Paramount Pictures who will serve as its distributor.
Boseman had this to say about the character recently:
There are a lot of different things to pull from. You can look to all these different civilizations that existed in Africa. The Egyptians. The Mali, who are believed to have been a satellite nation of ancient Kemet. The Zulu. You can go so many different places. It could be Ethiopia, which went a long time without being conquered as well. So, just pulling from all those things and finding an attachment and a pride to them and then being very specific and doing my own DNA test and finding where I come from, what my ancestry is. Once you have the role, people want to give you things. People will reach out and say “hey, I want to train you” or “hey, I want you to meet this babalao who wants to read you.” I’m being approached with all types of things that have been helpful to the process.

This movie better be worth my coins
I love Halle berry but she didn’t do storm justice in xmen movies … Angela Bassett would have been better.. I don’t believe they can use storm character because Marvel Studios has retained/gotten back the film rights to most of their characters, 20th Century Fox still has a slight hold over them by still owning basically any hero or villain associated with the X-Men or Fantastic Four.
Who needs Halle when you have these women kicking ass? Lupita would have made the ideal storm, but whatever, this movie is coming so I’m good! This will be the film to lure me back to the theatre, it’s been years!

But the reason he’s being pushed hard is because he has connections that his daddy can afford him. That’s the privileges that come with being the son of the greatest basketball player of all time.
