‘Black Lives Matter’ Founder: “Hillary Clinton Uses The Black Community For Votes”

For many, the completely unique experiences of African-American often goes unnoticed in the political zeitgeist.

Now, as Hillary Clinton battles Donald Trump with hopes of winning the keys to the White House, she has been accused of using the African-American electorate to win the votes she needs to secure the power some believe she doesn’t use to support them.

Why the founder of the peaceful ‘Black Lives Matter’s movement concurs?

Alicia Garza‘s estimation of Clinton’s supposedly habitual use and abuse of black people below…

Garza, who founded the organisation, had this to say about Hillary in a recent interview with ‘Bloomberg‘:

Early on, [Hillary] would say, ‘Yes, black lives matter,’ but she wouldn’t acknowledge her role in processes that fundamentally showed black lives did not matter.

I am going to do everything in my power to make sure that we are not led by Donald Trump. That being said, there’s lots to be engaged in at the state level, the local level. We’re going to continue to push. We’re not indebted to or endeared to the Democratic Party.

When the publication asked her how she felt about Bill Clinton’s claim that the ‘Matters’ movement was  “defending the people who kill the lives you say matter”, she explained:

I was angry about that for about a month—seriously, like every single day. It’s reprehensible for him to defend the impacts his policies have had on our communities. The Clintons use black people for votes, but then don’t do anything for black communities after they’re elected. They use us for photo ops.

She went on to add:

The biggest misconception about ‘Black Lives Matters’ is that we only care about black people. We are clear that all lives matter, but we live in a world where that’s not actually happening in practice. So if we want to get to the place where all lives matter, then we have to make sure that black lives matter, too.

She isn’t the only political activist who questions the Democratic party’s treatment of her community.

I get it. The Clinton’s get way too much good press, and under serve the community, but dear god, at this point, can’t you take our your anger on Trump? Someone 10X scarier.

    • OVO Danity August 9, 2016

Your point is valid but at least you know what you’re getting with Trump. Hillary posits herself as a friend to the community but has done nothing to remove the legislative chains put in place to hurt us. Look at housing and loan discrimination for example. There is proof that black people were refused loans so they couldn’t start the businesses other people now own. What has Hillary done to address this?

      • Sorry Not Sorry August 9, 2016

yo if Trump wins the presidency over this incompetence of who the fk BLM needs to support; i’m going to stop supporting the movement…. FOR REAL. stop with this madness and make sure Trump doesn’t win dammnit AND FK THE IGNORANT ASS FOOLS HIDING BEHIND THE -AT LEAST YOU KNOW WHAT YOU GET WITH HIM- ARGUMENT CUZ THATS WILLINGLY VOTING IN HITLER AND YOU WILL UNDOUBTEDLY BE REMEMBERED AS DOING SUCH. ignorant ass fools…

      • Gregory August 9, 2016

Well if fools going to vote for Trump, let them, 74 year old man is not going to change his stripes you see what he is all about, lie after lie after lie, that trump kool aid must be real good..

    • Truthsayer August 9, 2016

Trump scarier than Hillary? How so? Because he’s against people getting into the country ILLEGALLY and depleting resources meant for citizens? Or because he’s taking very seriously the threat of Islamic radicalism so as to prevent another 9/11? Or because he says what’s on his mind instead of lying and pretending like politicians typically do? Nah maybe it’s cos he’s trying to cut taxes for EVERYBODY in the country, with some lower income families paying zero tax. Or just maybe it’s because he’s against all the unnecessary wars the US has gone into, mainly because the US finds it hard to mind their own business. So which one is it, cos I’m just not understanding how he’s scarier. Please educate me.

      • Sorry Not Sorry August 9, 2016

you mean cut taxes for EVERYONE WHO AINT MIDDLE OR LOWER CLASS? Edvidenceofignorance

      • Bam Bam August 9, 2016

Donald Trump has zero plans for the country. He has said that he would not support NATO allies if Russia attacks them, says that he will use nuclear weapons in the Middle East as well as Europe, he is a fake billionaire, outsources all of his work, says that women who choose abortion should be prosecuted, asked Russia to breech national security, praised Saddam Hussen, has a history of discriminating against people who can live in his buildings, flip flopped on major issues, has not laid out one single plan of how he plans to do anything, and he’s racist.
For the people who say that black on black crime is a thing what about the 84% of white people who were killed by white people in 2015? Is that a problem? The people who say things like this don’t actually care about the issues in the black community, they are just deflecting.
As far as BLM goes I support the cause but don’t forget we let Barack Obama down when we didn’t go back out and vote 2010. The president can’t do things alone, he needs the help of Congress. I thought that American Government was a requirement for highschool graduation, but I guess not.

      • nah August 9, 2016

What defines an illegal immigrant to America? when the whole country is built on the back of murdering natives, then dragging Africans there and Islamic Radicalisation are you serious? The US is a haven for crazy white Christians who spend more time shooting up schools than praying! Plus its the US smart idea of invading and creating wars with multiple countries that has helped cause radicalisation! And lower taxes loooool bull! One thing you should learn is that they never lower taxes! If they can make money off you they will!

    • wrosy3 August 9, 2016

I agree I’m sick of black people complaining we get a black president they ass is not satisfied what will satisfy blacks what do African Americans want to get their s*** together or live in a perfect environment black lives matter should March into the black community and tell your own that your lives matter to each other instead they will rather beat up on Clinton to put trump in office let they stupid ass do and see what Trump do for them

      • Love August 9, 2016

What does getting a black president mean? Please tell me. More importantly, do you think black people want to be killed by other black people? No, so your “stop killing yourselves” argument is invalid. Black people are not killing other black people because they don’t like black people because they are black themselves. Also, I’d like you to know that because of the population of white people in America, white on white crime is more prevalent than black on black crime. It’s a fact. Should white victims of police brutality hush up because of this?

    • BYOU August 9, 2016

I was saying the same thing.. Clinton is a fraud. Donald trump is a fraud too.

    • getogoin August 9, 2016

This actually makes me question the president of BLM! Is she getting PAID by the Trump organization to say these things at such a CRITICAL moment in the election??? HMMM

  2. Anastasia Beaverhousen August 9, 2016

    She’s right about the Clintons.

Unfortunately, this is a case of choosing the lesser of two evils.

If Trump gets in, I think America is going to have a second civil war..

    • Sorry Not Sorry August 9, 2016

there will INDEED BE A 2nd CIVIL WAR if Trump is elected… I sure as hell will fight in it cuz I refuse to lose ANY of the gains in rights all of my people & ancestors have made since the last…..

    • tammy August 9, 2016

She is stating a moot point! Politicians use and pander to ALL communities for votes.. Thats how it works, they pander for votes and do what they feel when they get to office but having that said Trump is the worse thing that could happen to all of us if he gets in office! He has no consideration for nobody but himself! Minorities will pay dearly if he wins!

  3. Rih Rih August 9, 2016

Sigh. So you rather have Trump then Clinton? These negros are dumb as hell, I can’t. Do better black people.

    • Anastasia Beaverhousen August 9, 2016

      Read what she said.

She is going to fight for to get in,vbut is asking black people to hold Hillary accountable, once in office..

      • Anastasia Beaverhousen August 9, 2016

        *fight for her

      • Rih Rih August 9, 2016

I read what she said. My statement is for those blacks who are pro Trump.

      • Misdemeanor August 9, 2016

I agree with her. Elect HRC and push her. Trump will not be pushed. If you aren’t a white straight rich man you don’t fit into his equation.

    • OVO Danity August 9, 2016

The dumb one is you!!! It’s not either or but rather “what can we do to fight for change.” The LGBT community wouldn’t vote for Hillary if she asked them for their votes but didn’t help them so why should black or Latino people.

      • Rih Rih August 9, 2016

@OVO Danity, I don’t speak troglodyte, so exit my reply you dumb b****. Thanks.

      • Sorry Not Sorry August 9, 2016

#lgbtq is & always has been behind Hillary, WTF are you talking about? you sound so dumb when i read that out loud, honestly….

    • Anastasia Beaverhousen August 9, 2016

      Oh ok..

    • Truthsayer August 9, 2016

Please give me a good argument as to why any black person should support Hillary over Trump.

      • Rih Rih August 9, 2016

If you haven’t educated yourself on each candidate by now, your going to be apart of the problem. With that said, you’re on the Internet, inform yourself. I have constructive things to adhere to, I don’t have time for this.

      • Gregory August 9, 2016

Remember Trump and the Clintons were close friends, what happened to make Trump be some vile against the Clintons, what transpired in their friendship, I had people who were close friends and now we are not, but I will never bash them in the media, did the Clintons did something so vile to the Trumps?

    • Truthsayer August 9, 2016

“If you haven’t educated yourself on each candidate by now, your going to be apart of the problem. With that said, you’re on the Internet, inform yourself. I have constructive things to adhere to, I don’t have time for this.”
Yup. Pretty much all i needed to know to conclude that you really have no logical reasons for supporting Hillary over Trump except that it’s what everyone else seems to be doing. Don’t be such a sheep and read up on Trump’s real stances.

      • whenindoubtthetruthwillout August 9, 2016

I would have thought that the fact that Trump has been endorsed by David Duke,ex-leader of the KKK,and now also by the American Nazi Party, who want to re-introduce racial segregation, would be enough for anybody to vote for Hillary over Trump.
If you still think Trump is a better candidate then you must be dumb as f***!!!!

  4. OVO Danity August 9, 2016

If anyone doesn’t believe that black people were banned from getting loans and houses as recently as the 80s YouTube Mariah Carey’s mother’s Oprah interview where she describes how this affected Mariah and her siblings directly.

  5. Flykiid August 9, 2016

Truthfully i dont trust either candidate but i do believe Clinton is the lessor evil in this race.

  6. Reply At Your Own Risk. Leave the DumbFuckery At Door ~tyler August 9, 2016

I’d rather see Hilary in office…
    And that’s not saying much

  7. yes August 9, 2016

    Girl….I Guess I’m With Her -___-

    • yes August 9, 2016

Who else I’m I suppose to vote for!?

  8. Truthsayer August 9, 2016

Can someone give me a good explanation as to why Hillary Clinton is better for the black community than Donald Trump, cos I’m just not getting all the blind support for Hillary Clinton. It’s actually astonishing tbh. I didn’t think we were sheep like this.

    • Chileplease August 9, 2016

Maybe because she knows the definition of TACT. I don’t care that Donald says what’s on his mind. His ideas for resolution are far fetched and impossible. He doesn’t know anything about politics. You really believe he’s going to build a wall? The world doesn’t work that way. We can’t go around being racist, ignorant jackasses. Hilary isn’t perfect, but she definitely knows how to get her points across in a manner that won’t cause the world to implode.

      • Truthsayer August 9, 2016

So you’d rather have a politician that lies to you, under the guise of tact, as long as it’s what you want to hear, or one who says things as they are, even though he says it in a brash manner? Cos i’m having a hard time figuring out why people want to be lied to?

      • Truthsayer August 9, 2016

Also please give me instances of Trump being racist. Don’t just use fancy words without backup

      • Sorry Not Sorry August 9, 2016

Truthsayer needs to go learn that god damn truth and stop acting like those voting for Hillary are the lost ones. Im old enough to remember the mess the first Clinton cleaned up after the first fkn Bush family. I remember our country being in its best shape with a SURPLUS IN DEFICIT UNDER CLINTON. I REMEMBER BUSH JR TAKING US BACK TO HELL AFTER CLINTON and I will be dammned if my country votes in Hitler Bush to finish fkning it in the ass without vaseline and tell us its a favor….. Truthsayer, wake the fk up and dont do it.

      • Bam Bam August 9, 2016

Trump is a racist because he said that the first black President was not born in this country, has a history of discriminating against black people living in his buildings, called Mexicans r***** and murderers, want to ban an entire religion from entering the country, refers to black people as “The Blacks”, etc.

  9. Love August 9, 2016

Black people have a unique experience that needs to be treated uniquely. Our issues affect us and only us and so I believe that education reform, and not food stamps, and the removal of the barriers most people pretend don’t exist that will elevate our people. I’ll vote for Hillary but do so knowing who I’m dealing with.

  10. Nystyle808 August 9, 2016

The Democrats have been using black folks to win presidencies since Kennedy. JFK, very reluctantly and at the very last minute, arranged for MLK to be released from prison after he and a group of protesters were arrested in 1960. Kennedy’s brother Robert – who ran his campaign – was highly agitated that JFK did that because he feared it would cost them the election once Southern Whites found out. The kicker is that Richard Nixon (Republican) was actually a friend of MLK and was the one who urged Kennedy to get him released…because he had more pull in that area. When black folks saw what happened, the swooned to Kennedy and this began the love affair between Dems and Blacks. When in reality, it was the Republican candidate who actually had MLK’s back.

And over the past 20 years or so, they’ve branched out into pandering to other minority groups (gays, hispanics, women) with that same disingenuous “vote for me, and I’ll set you free” song and dance.

    • Truthsayer August 9, 2016

Tell em louder, cos they can’t hear you at the back.

      • Peace August 9, 2016

Preach! These are the same people who trivialised the black experience to push for marriage equality with “gay is the new black.” Dems are only interested in black issues when they can be used to usher in rights for minorities they prefer. The gay rights movement only benefits wealthy white gay people but has always ignored LGBT people of color who face racism within the gay community.

      • Gregory August 9, 2016

Hey Truthsayer the s*** Trump is doing do you think Obama would had been labeled as a angry black man, I guess it’s a white mans privileged to act like an ass and be considered as a man with passion in making this country great again…

      • Speak on it. August 9, 2016

Sure doll. Also, please stop with the multiple accounts, it’s really pathetic.

    • Bam Bam August 9, 2016

One of Richard Nixon’s advisors said that the main goal of his presidency was taking down black people and hippies.

  11. BeyBey August 9, 2016

She’s basically asking us to hold Hillary accountable which is what my parents told me to do. Black people need to be aware that a number of things we believe about ourselves our lies! One of these is that we don’t have power. We do. The issue is that we’ve been beaten down so much that we often don’t know how to use it. One look at Michael Jordan’s sudden change of heart should tell you how strong we are when we unite. So, though I’ll vote Hillary in November we must use the next four years to seek politicians who are right for us! After all, why should we get behind someone who does nothing for us?

  12. Coastal August 9, 2016

Hillary reminds me of that b*tchy female high school principal who stood in the hallways telling kids to get to class. I’m not voting for her. I actually like Trump better. Not sure I’ll vote for him though.

    • Truthsayer August 9, 2016

Vote for him! It’s time to let our voices be heard. And encourage others to do the same. Protect your future.!

  13. Truthsayer August 9, 2016

All this hate for Trump really baffles me. So all it takes is for someone to eschew political correctness in favor of speaking facts as they are, and everyone is up in arms with their pitchforks? Forget that Trump is all for reducing taxes for everyone, while Hillary is trying to raise them. Forget that Hillary has a track record of being a warmonger, while Trump is all for ending all wars that US is trying to fight? This is astonishing tbh. black people we can do better. We don’t have to vote for the person who panders the most. We are logical people not dumbasses.

    • Sorry Not Sorry August 9, 2016

Truthsayer WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT 4 REAL?

“All this hate for Trump really baffles me. So all it takes is for someone to eschew political correctness in favor of speaking facts as they are, and everyone is up in arms with their pitchforks?”

only racists, anti-femminists, homophobes, transphobes & bigots believe “political correctness” is the issue so SIT THE FK DOWN.

“Forget that Trump is all for reducing taxes for everyone, while Hillary is trying to raise them.”

You do forget because the exact opposite is whats true. Unless you are a white million/billion/gagillionaire, Trump has ZERO tax cuts for you….

“Forget that Hillary has a track record of being a warmonger, while Trump is all for ending all wars that US is trying to fight?”

research the military industrial complex & involvement by any & all republicans over the past hundred years to find the truth & its absence in what you believe…… damn you’re stupid

“This is astonishing tbh. black people we can do better. We don’t have to vote for the person who panders the most. We are logical people not dumbasses.”

speak for yourself… logic isnt present in any of your writings dumbass

  14. Queen Barb August 9, 2016

    Vote TRUMP!

  15. Guy August 9, 2016

Here’s my advice. Vote for Hillary but we have to force her to fulfill her promises once she’s in. Nothing scares a politician more than the threat of a poor legacy. She’ll have no choice but to acknowledge us once we put the pressure on her like the gay community did to all the politicians who used to be against marriage equality. ??

    • Truthsayer August 9, 2016

You say this like this is the first time anyone has tried that. it doesn’t work. Vote Trump 2016!

  16. Applause August 9, 2016

People wanna vote Hilary only because trump comes off racist with not wanting illegal immigrants in our country. Donald has never disrespected the black community but sheep will follow so.

    • Melanin Queen August 9, 2016

But he has disrespected our Muslim and Mexican brothers and sisters and an insult to one is an insult to all!

      • XoMoDe August 9, 2016

Eh. I don’t have any Mexican or Muslim brothers and sisters. An insult to them is an insult to them.

      • Applause August 9, 2016

That’s the problem your making other race issues yours…. All your doing is fighting the Mexican and Muslims battle tbh while they sit back in silence.

      • Truthsayer August 9, 2016

He never even disrespected Mexicans or Muslims as you say. he ‘disrespected’ Muslim radical terrorists as well as Mexican illegals.

      • XoMoDe August 9, 2016

Basically. And most Mexicans and Muslims aren’t singing Negro spirituals with us every time some kind of injustice is dealt towards the Black community…and, truthfully, I don’t need or expect them too either. They have their own issues to attend to. So let them. I fully understand why a Muslim or Mexican would find Trump distasteful, a black person…not so much.

    • XoMoDe August 9, 2016

Black people saw Trump go after illegal Mexican immigrants, Muslim terrorists and decided to be Anti-Trump BEFORE he could theoretically attack us next. I think if we hadn’t had that paranoia and remained neutral in all this, he wouldn’t have. Notice how he hasn’t said anything disparaging towards gays? We basically picked an unnecessary fight with him, and prematurely got behind Hillary, out of paranoia. She may win. She’s up in the polls and has the lingering support of Obama’s overall base, but I don’t think she’d be any better as president than Trump.

      • Melanin Queen August 9, 2016

I don’t want acceptance if it comes at the expense of another minority though.

      • Applause August 9, 2016

    • Melanin Queen August 9, 2016

Excuse me. Who told you that anti-Hillary means pro Trump?

  18. Melanin Queen August 9, 2016

But how can I support someone who discriminates against anyone? Think about it. I’m supposed to like Trump because he hasn’t done what he’s not supposed to? Really?!! You would never ask a gay person to endorse anyone that doesn’t care about them so why are black people being asked to support Trump or Hillary? Why? I’ll vote for Hillary but join the efforts to pressure her to change.

    • XoMoDe August 9, 2016

A near wasted effort that would be. Once Hillary is elected, she’ll be at the beck and call of the people and corporation who she owes campaign donations to. If THEY decide they care about issues concerning black people and make it an issue for her to address, then maybe she’ll get around to tossing a bone. But I highly doubt that it’ll be priority 1…2….3… or…4. We all know how much corporations care about black people, so we’d probably be better off waiting for whoever gets in after her.

    • Reply At Your Own Risk. Leave the DumbFuckery At Door ~tyler August 9, 2016

    • Avi August 9, 2016

Of course Hillary was gonna speak to the NAACP. She has to. They are more vital to her than they are Trump. Romney spoke before the NAACP, and even got a standing ovation at the end but in the end got nothing from it. They didn’t endorse him and it didn’t raise his level of black support a single bit. The NAACP is in the pocket of the Democrats. No Republican who engages them is going to get anything out of it.

      • Reply At Your Own Risk. Leave the DumbFuckery At Door ~tyler August 9, 2016

Romney was pre Trayvon Martin, pre Michael Brown and the Black Lives Matter movement. There wasn’t this surge of national awareness of police brutality like there is today because of those aforementioned events. So there is no excuse as to why Trump should have turned down the NAACP’s invitation. He doesn’t care! It’s just that simple. The last time I checked, Trump represents the same political party as Romney did. So what exactly does that tell you ?

      • Taylor Swift-To-Find-A-New-Man August 9, 2016

Umm Romney did appeal to black voters but what black voter would choose him over Obama? There are multiple variables as to why it did nothing for him. Namely, re-elected presidents almost always retain their original voters

      • Cops Give A Damn About A Negro! Pull A Trigger Killa A N**** He’s A Hero ~ August 9, 2016

Elaborate on how Romney appealed to black voters. Because inquiring minds are dying to know. We have to do whats best for OUR community. The conservative party isn’t looking out for the best interest of minorities or the working class. So wtf are you talking about? Clinton really is the lessor of two evils. Anyone who believes otherwise is an Uncle Tom, a sellout, a fool!

      • Taylor Swift-To-Find-A-New-Man August 9, 2016

Romney did appeal to middle class black Americans. He got more black support than McCain did. Most likely because his platform was not ultra conservative.

      • Cops Give A Damn About A Negro! Pull A Trigger Killa A N**** He’s A Hero ~ August 9, 2016

What “Black Middle Class” are you talking about? Only 6 PERCENT of African Americans voted for him compared to McCain who had 4 percent of the black vote. Romney didn’t “appeal” to Black America any more than McCain did. So idk what the hell you’re talking about.

  20. wayno August 9, 2016

They all use the black vote to win the presidency!

He is a racist who has attacked practically everyother race & really knows little about. Politics.
The Clintons are clearly hypocrite who use minorities/will say anything to win but at least I think they possess less treats in general than trump.

Agreed! Couldn’t have said it better myself.

  22. Dem Lessers August 9, 2016

So trump is going to win. I’ll pray for you Americans.

  23. Stephy August 9, 2016

Donald Trump is gonna lead this country into another multi-billion dollar war. He leads with emotion & ego. I can just see it now, once any of those countries threaten or even try to look at America the wrong way… Donald will be sending soldiers left & right. He’s gonna be Bush Jr. all over again… Hilary will be a more vicious & dominate version of Obama. Both shady & less than smart candidates… But, I’ll go with Hilary over Trump anyday. Donald does NOT care about working class blacks or gays. And, republicans could give 2 shits about poor people of ALL races for that matter. They ALWAYS cater to the rich.
    .
Hilary NEEDS to become the next President, period.

  24. Sorry Not Sorry August 9, 2016

Applause Truthsayer & XoMoDe are all ridiculous and completely ignorant of how much support Latinos (all including Mexicans) and Muslims give the #blacklivesmatter movement. Chances are you’re all from small towns and resort to online trolling so much you don’t even attend BLM functions to see how diverse their support is. You’re most likely sad little crackers that grew up with the wrong beliefs and thinking everyone else is less than to you… go ahead and vote for Trump you losers. the next civil war he ushers in will BE ON YOU.

  25. S****** Blonde August 9, 2016

They use every American person to get votes, not only black people, every citizen of the USA is used in their campaign, the thing is that Clinton is the right choice. I hold dual citizenship but I won’t vote, but if I change my mind then Hillary will get my vote.

    • Tea spilled August 9, 2016

So if she’s the right choice, like you said (which she is) why not vote for her? You are forever looking for attention smh.

      • S****** Blonde August 9, 2016

I don’t live in the USA anymore, that’s the first reason I won’t vote, the other reason is that I’m not interested in politics right now. Anyway, I’m having a hard time trying to figure out what part of my comment makes you think that I’m looking for attention, stop the drama.

      • Tea spilled August 9, 2016

Please, go deal with what you’re trying to compensate for.

  26. Keegan Parker August 9, 2016

Black ignorant b****** who will probably stay home and complain..

  27. Michael Okoro August 9, 2016

Are other minority races in the U.S as confused in this election or is this just an Aftican American phenomenon. People are online crying about not voting for Hilary because she has ‘never done anything for you’re people’ ….how about you take advantage of whatever little you can of the system and push yourselves, u know? Like the various migrants from Africa and Asia who study and study and study and work harder than the average white man and don’t complain about it every damn time. They seem to be more focused in life it seems than African Americans, sorry.

    • Sorry Not Sorry August 9, 2016

Latinos throughout the entire country are pushing hard for Hill. So hard, they’re convincing family members that dont yet have citizenship but qualify; to go through Naturalization process just to vote against Trump. This election will show the true face of the Latino vote. it will finally shift power from All White to All minority, so long as ALL MINORITIES STICK IN THIS TOGETHER AND FIGHT AGAINST TRUMP. WE CANNOT ALLOW OURSELVES TO BE DIVIDED WITH FOOLISHNESS AND FALSE IDOLS. TRUMP IS ONLY THERE FOR THE RICH WHITE GUY VOTE. NOTHING MORE/LESS. Blacks who think Trump will do better; PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELVES BEFORE YOU HELP HIM USHER IN CIVIL & WORLD WARS ON TOP OF UTTER CHAOS.

  28. Taylor Swift-To-Find-A-New-Man August 9, 2016

LOL! This is news? Yall must not understand politics. EVERY platform uses EVERY group to get votes. The Dems have been using minorities and the LGBTQ community for votes just like the Republican uses the wealthy and gun loving for votes. That is how politics work. But to say that Hillary has done nothing for the black community (or that the Democratic party has done nothing for the black community) is just stupid and historically inaccurate. Anyone who think Trump is better for blacks than Hillary needs to drink a tall glass of bleach.

    • Tea spilled August 9, 2016

      ^Preach! My sentiments exactly.

  29. stan August 9, 2016

that comment ignores the historical context. everyone, including the black community, was better off economically under bill clinton. that is a fact.

and regarding the crime bill, obviously it’s too harsh and we need to do something about police brutality as we move forward. however, this was originally done as a response to high crime rate back in the 80s & 90s. minorities overwhelmingly supported that bill.

hillary is not a perfect candidate by any means, but if you look at her record, you’ll see that she always pushed to make things happen. examples: children’s defense fund, CHIP, 911 health & compensation act. can you you say the same with the other candidate?

    • REALTALK August 9, 2016

Anyone that even compares HRC to Trump is not only ignorant but they need to get off TGJ and go do some research. Bill Clinton was the greatest President of my life time maybe the greatest of all. Minorities flourished under the Clinton administration. One look at Trump rallies should be more than enough for a person to see where his focus is and truth is he doesn’t even give a flying fukk about the minions that are following him now he’s just using their ignorance and bigotry for his own gain. HRC needs to be held accountable but my prediction is “she’ll be a far better President than Obama!!!!!!!

    • Taylor Swift-To-Find-A-New-Man August 9, 2016

Its funny how blacks want to blame Bill’s administration for harming the black community as if Reagan never happened.

      • Cops Give A Damn About A Negro! Pull A Trigger Killa A N**** He’s A Hero ~ August 9, 2016

Why don’t you stop worrying about what black’s are doing and start focusing on your OWN community for a change?

  30. blue August 9, 2016

not american, but i supported Hillary for president against obama, and i fear for america if she is not voted for again. every president has to be held accountable and make sure they truly fight for the issues that they say they are gonna fight for. Hillary knows the systems, promises only what she knows is possible to achieve and has a track record of reaching across the board to the republicans to get things done. with every position she has ever held including being first lady, people approved of her work and achievements but somehow never like her when she is running for those positions.

  31. eric August 9, 2016

Hypocrite. She’s attacking Hillary for not doing anything for the black community while BLM puts zero effort into bringing attention to the black on black crime which continues to destroy the community at a fast rate and on a much larger scale than police brutality. Didn’t one of the leaders of BLM recently go to jail on charges of s** trafficking? Seems to me the founder should be more concerned about the lies and deception going on in her own cirle. Wait, I forgot…she doesn’t look at how we contribute to our own problems in the black community. Alicia Garza needs to do some serious soul searching.

ONLY RACIST WHITE PEOPLE WANT TO KEEP BRINGING ATTENTION TO BLACK ON BLACK CRIME WHEN STATISTICALLY IT IS NOT WORSE THAN WHITE ON WHITE CRIME…

  32. Rosie August 9, 2016

Black people have sued Trump for discrimination and he has said plenty of racist things about them in the past. Just because he hasn’t said much about him now doesn’t mean he isn’t against minorities period.
And I support BLM but people like these are getting on my nerves. It’s like so many of them have never voted before (which is likely because they’re mostly millenials) and don’t know a thing about how elections work. Of course she has to pander to a group just like Trump is currently pandering towards working class white males. Welcome to politics. By the way, voting Jill Stein won’t do s***. Your next president WILL be either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. Shut the f*** up with this “lessor of two evils” mess, put your big girl/boy boots on, and vote Democrat in November.
