The ice cream manufacturer Ben & Jerry’s has stepped out to reveal that its supports the aims and objectives of the peaceful ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement.

How some of the movement’s detractors are responding?

A boycott they hope will freeze the company out of business.

Full story below…

Systemic and institutionalized racism are the defining civil rights and social justice issues of our time. We’ve come to understand that to be silent about the violence and threats to the lives and well-being of Black people is to be complicit in that violence and those threats.

Since releasing the statements above, several ‘BLM’ attacker’s took to social media to organise a boycott of the company.

The website ‘Blue Lives Matter’ shared:

Whether as “private citizens” or a major corporation, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream has been a proponent of the Black Lives Matter “movement,” its ideology and its baseless, hateful, anti-police rhetoric. It’s no surprise that many citizens who support law enforcement have renewed their pledge to boycott this irresponsible company.

Please show your support for law enforcement and spread the word that Ben & Jerry’s does not deserve our business.

BLM haters really thought it was a fad. Too bad for them, this is just the beginning. The beauty of all of this is how many white people who know racism exist are stepping out of their comfort zones to support. They have no reason to go against the system which benefits them but they are and that’s awesome.

      • Danzou October 9, 2016

They should make a “sideways goatee” flavor in kwinzys honor.

      • Anna October 9, 2016

🙁 They’ve discontinued cookie dough in the UK, cuz some fool at the factory dropped some metal in a big batch of ice-cream that got shipped out. As soon as it’s back i’m getting some ?

Chile I’m just afraid they will do some c***-ish BlackLivesMatter flavour, which will be all chocolate and people will get offended LMAO.

  4. Paulo October 9, 2016

Good to know I’m about to step outside and get some

  5. Danzou October 9, 2016

See how white people think? They think that boycotting a company that supports equality amongst all people was the answer to get their point across. I just don’t get it.

    • OMG Logic!!! October 9, 2016

So you’re going to ignore the White-owned company supporting BLM? Lord, it’s like you tune out everything that gets in your way of hating White people.

  6. Danzou October 9, 2016

However I’m never really impressed when companies support major causes. If it was profitable to go against BLM then they would. The same way when these companies support marriage equality I don’t buy it. If it was better to slander gay people then these companies would do just that.

You think so? Morally I couldn’t. .. For some that’s more important than a dollar bill concerning their brand… I mean, it’s not like the black population is that big compared to others as a whole. I want to believe companies like this are being genuine. If not, then part of like I said below. Racism is alive more than ever and blacks need to wake up and unify. On another outlook, I think BLM could be a start for the union but on the real, blks have some milestones to cross first..

Ben and Jerry been down. They got arrested at a Demoracy rally (or something like that) and google them. They been down

      • Danzou October 9, 2016

Yes I think these companies ultimately do what’s best for business.

  7. Lake Erie October 9, 2016

This is so sad. For those who are STILL oblivious to thinking racism isn’t here, this is definitely clear proof. This boycott is really ironic when you think about it… smh..

  8. October 9, 2016

some people doesn’t like to hear the truth, ofcourse they are going to boycott them, nuff respect to them though for taking the chance and standing up to the nonsense, they new that theres a high chance that, they where going to get back lash boycott and all, but they didn’t care and i respect that.

  9. MUSICHEAD October 9, 2016

I’m sure they weighed the consequences of publicly supporting the Black Lives Movement and decided it was still worth it. Much respect to B&J. I don’t even buy ice cream but I’ll pick up some Ben & Jerry’s on my errand run today just because.

  10. Kiii October 9, 2016

Lol at the Blue Lives Matter boycotting equality. It’s funny that they’re saying BLM is hateful & baseless when a large majority of their supporters are racist trump supporters. Good for B&J for not staying silent and truly understanding what BLM stands for and represents

  11. 1mcluver October 9, 2016

major respect but at the same time it pisses me tf off, in the future ben & jerry’ or even someone else is going to be terrified to give there opinion due to public backlash and/or boycott of their products

on a side note, i see this a lot lately ,if you say ______lives matter and its not black lives then you should be ashamed to even call yourself human. whether its “blue lives matter’ or now I’m seeing white lives matter smh it is a complete blanket statement and most definitely discounting what black lives matter is trying to do. they’re almost trying to overshadow black lives matter as if this country doesn’t have a past of repressing black people. now i know what it means to have your heart hurting for the world.

They are clever business men, they know who purchases majority of their product and brand. Google people.

Exactly. They knew what they were doing. It’s never genuine.
