Chris Rock has picked up a $40 million check for a lucrative new deal he has signed with Netflix.
The esteemed comedian has signed a two-show deal with the platform.
These shows will be standup specials Hulu and Amazon had hoped to bag but lost out on when Netflix beat them in a biding war launched by the rivals to secure them.
News of his deal comes as the platform continues to see its subscriber count rise with help from its gripping new documentary ’13th’ and Marvel’s ‘Luke Cage.’
