The new Netflix original series ‘Luke Cage‘ is to thank/blame for the overloading of the platform’s system over the weekend.

Fronted by the African-American actor Mike Colter, the series tells the tale of the crime-fighting Marvel hero created by Archie Goodwin, John Romita, Sr. and George Tuska.
On September 30th the character was reintroduced to the world via a thirteen episode Netflix series.
How the general public responded? Intensely.
For, the platform’s server was unable to accommodate the unexpected number of new subscribers the show had pulled in and went down for two hours.
The outage, which began just before 12:00 PM Pacific time, appears to have primarily affected the United States and the UK.

Gurl, give it a rest and loosen up. It’s OK to every now and then make a tongue and cheek quip. Obviously the thirst for the show is because of the writing, acting and production….but anyone with two eyes can acknowledge Mike Colter is phyne as hell as well.
That’s why my ass waited two days after it premiered on Netflix LOL
Marvel is doing really well on netflix. Jesica Jones was amazing and so was the little bit of Luke Cage that I saw.
