Upon its 2013 debut, comic genius Kevin Hart and the gang of BET’s ‘Real Husbands of Hollywood’ were ratings frontrunners for the network.  Opening to a whopping 4.14 million in January of that year, the show’s first two season’s ratings maintained a buoyancy that helped make it a leader among all cable shows in its time slot.

Fast forward three years and four seasons later, the funnyman probably won’t be finding much to laugh about when he takes a look at the series’ ratings for its season 5 (which premiered October 11, 2016).  Stats reveal this week brought with it the first time over its 5 seasons the show launched to less than 1 million viewers.

    Kevin Hart is NOT funny on screen and never has been. He is annoying and a far better stand up comic. His fame is overhyped as his talent is highly overrated.

      OMG Yes,Say that!

      omg I been saying that, but I’m happy that a brother is doing well mainstream.
      His white people funny, so that’s where his appeal comes in.

    Brandy Zoe Ever After first week #’s were stronger than Real Husbands & Kelly’s Chasing Destiny. Please bring it back!

      @Rushonjones

      Kelly’s show came on at 10pm at night compared to Brandy’s 8pm time slot. Most folks are at sleep by 10. Her online views were huge that had it at 2 million per episode! Their will be a season 2 of her show bcuz fans petitioned for it and BET agreed.

      The only way I want to see Zoe Ever After come back is if the entire cast is replaced except Brandy and her son. Everyone else was terrible actors and the writing sucked. Get rid of the laugh track too and give it more of a S** and the City vibe.

    If BET was smart they would license reruns of The Haves and The Have Nots and air them in between news seasons on Own. They should also license Blackish but I’m sure the fees for that show would be thru the roof since it’s on ABC.

    Kevin Hart is NOT funny. Just corny as hell. I’m happy for his success tho. But I can’t waste anymore time or money supporting him. He’s so cringy. I literally force myself to like him. That’s not good. It should be natural. Bye

    I’m happy for Kev’s success too. He’s just not my cup of tea though. All he does is yell and scream and expect ppl to laugh at his histrionics. I need something a bit more mature. Watching him is almost like watching reruns of the 3 Stooges. I can’t anymore…and this is coming from a 25yr old.

    Wow, This show needs to be cancelled, I never watched one episode, But those numbers declining like that are no bueno…

    It was cool for a few seasons but now not as refreshing.
    The concept of it was great and I think it’s had it’s natural course run.
    Done great to squeeze 5 seasons.
