In honour of her contribution to the arts and efforts to enhance diversity in Hollywood, Viola Davis is to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Viola is one of the actresses who always mesmerize fans with her talent. She is amazing and we are thrilled that she will grace our world famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The statement above was released by Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez who was elated to announce the birth of Davis’ star.
As to flaunt their appreciation for her work, the Walk of Fame organisers ensured that the ‘Fences‘ star will be the first entertainer to receive a star in 2017, and are currently arranging the ceremony which will honour her with their gaze set on January 5th.
News of her star only adds to the actress’ growing list of accomplishments.
On December 16th she is expected to rock the box office with her latest movie ‘Fences’ after doing the same for DC Comics’ ‘Suicide Squad’ in the summer with help from co-stars Will Smith and Jared Leto.
Quite interestingly, she will receive her star four years after she joined a list of artists and creatives who had been selected to receive one.
Why it took four years for it to happen? That remains to be seen.
What fans of the star do know is that they can live stream the ceremony when it kicks off in Hollywood on January 5th!

Well they buy them, so whenever you have accolades it is up to the star themselves or team to buy. I do however like to see most people get them as their career is on the down side rather than while they’re red-hot/the biggest thing around.
