Once considered to be the weakest link in the ‘Love & Hip Hop’ family on a storyline and ratings front, ‘Love & Hip Hop: New York‘ continues to be bolstered by the arrivals of the multi-hyphenate talent Cardi B and the rapper Remy Ma.

Fantastic news below…

Monday night’s episode topped Monday night’s ratings tally with the support of  2.7 million viewers.

Built by the entertainment mogul Mona Scott-Young, the series follows the lives of personalities linked to Hip Hop scene as they juggle life, love and comeback plans in the Big Apple.

Via TV By the Numbers:

VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop” rose to the top spot in the Monday cable ratings this week, scoring a 1.4 rating in adults 18-49, just one-tenth higher than its previous 1.3 last week. Meanwhile, “WWE Monday Night Raw” also ticked up one-tenth to grab a 1.3 peak rating throughout its three-hour broadcast, with two subsequent 1.2s on USA.

Cardi , born Belacalis Almanzar, parted ways with the show at the end of its seventh season to continue her pursuit of success in music, fashion and film.

Cardi B should be given her own reality show. whats the hold up? even if she doesn’t do LHH she should consider having her whole family (herself included) in a spinoff.
