Waves of negative criticism has done little to stop ‘All Eyez On Me’, the Tupac biopic, from faring well at the box office.

Slammed by the rapper’s friend Jada Pinkett-Smith, the project has been mocked online thanks to appearances of iPhones and contemporary dance routines…invented years after the rapper’s death.

and this will pretty much be ALL the movie will make. the p*** poor critical and public reviews will definitely keep moviegoers away this upcoming week, as well as next weekend. the movie will barely tap $50mil when all is said and done.

The funny thing is un-urban movies spend that much to make the movie but urban movies only spend about 1-5 million to make a movie so there’s will still be a profit

      • truthteller June 18, 2017

All Eyez on Me has a reported budget of 45 million and so it hasn’t made a profit yet

Shut up Brent! You’re stupid! You sound like an condescending idiot!

How we let tupac lose to a movie about cars?!

All Eyez On Me Grossed 31.2 MIL Domestically opening in half of the theaters as the number 1 and 2 grossed movies above it. It will not only recoup its money in full while in the theaters it will yield a profit once worldwide figures and DVD release comes into place. You can be critically of elements of the movie and still recognize the success of a BLACK PRODUCER AND BLACK DIRECTOR having a successful project especially since so few Black Movies even get made annually.

I think its bad timing, And the loud mouth director has tarnished it by arguing with Jada… Just let the film work speak for itself.
I havent seen it, and probably wont go to the theaters to see it.
But I feel it came out at the wrong time.
