The Star Jones-produced daytime talk show spoof, ‘Daytime Divas,’ is off to a solid start we must say.
The series, loosely based on ABC’s ‘The View’ and toplined singer/actress Vanessa Williams and veteran TV actress Tichina Arnold, made its premiere on VH1 last night with numbers that helped assist the network win cable ratings overall. Thanks, in part, to an impressive lead-in from the highly rated ‘Love & Hip Hop’ and ‘Basketball Wives’ franchises, ‘Divas’ fared well (especially for its 10p timeslot).

I feel like this show is on the wrong network.
should be on ABC or CBS… and I want it to cover more darker stories — right now it’s too much comedy. They should take it like the desperate housewives route, funny and humorous but at times dark
Too much comedy…which isn’t bad but I want the show to take a more serious route, some moments came off ass corny while other moments were actually funny. IMO too much was going on in episode one
I haven’t seen this show yet, but I’ve heard about it. I’m always here for Vanessa Williams.
It has potential. Everyone is getting exploited and black mail, and a lot going on. I wish it was more realistic in the aspect of not over the top drama, and no show would actually have grown women fighting, they would fake in until they were back stage, off set.
There are WAY too many of these kind of shows on TV. They all look the same.
