The actress’ latest venture sees her team with Paramount to lead a remake of hit comedy ‘What Women Want.’

The ‘Empire’ star has officially been tapped to appear in ‘What Men Want’ – a rom-com inspired by the 2000 original.
In its predecessor, Mel Gibson played a confident chauvinistic male who randomly acquires the ability to hear what the women around him are truly thinking.
The new incarnation follows Henson’s character – a female sports agent – who has been consistently freezed out by her male coworkers. When she gains the power to hear men’s thoughts, she uses it shift the pendulum of power to her advantage as she races to sign the NBA’s next big superstar.
Paramount are moving quickly with the flick, which is officially set for release on January 11th 2019.
‘What Men Want’ is being executive produced by Henson, along with Will Packer and James Lopez.
