‘Atlanta’ Season 2 Receives March Premiere Date

Published: Friday 5th Jan 2018 by Sam

Mark those calendars because hit series ‘Atlanta’ is making its way back to the box – after a year off air.

Find out when exactly the Donald Glover series will be returning below…

FX announced today that the show’s sophomore run (which is being titled “Atlanta Robbin’ Season”) will premiere Thursday, March 1st at 10pm.

Fans of the wildly popular show (which follows two cousins trying to make it in the ATL music scene) have been anticipating its return after creator, producer, and lead star Glover benched it for 2017 to focus on his music career (as Childish Gambino).

That venture proved fruitful, as he’s been nominated for 5 awards at the 2018 Grammys and will also be performing at the ceremony on January 28th.

And with ‘Atlanta’ being an award winner in its own right (with Golden Globes, NAACP, and Peabody honors to its name), it’s a great time to be Mr Glover. Especially with the recent announcement of his lead casting in the ‘Lion King.’

The first season of ‘ATL’ had us hooked and we cannot wait for the next!

Roll on March!
