I really hope it does better than Spider man and Thor. It has so much hype and starpower. The cast is so badasz

Does better than Thor or Spiderman? you crazy. What makes or breaks a movie is the foreign gross, and all black cast movies have NEVER done subtantially well overseas. So that will hurt it. It definately won’t hit Thor or Spidey numbers in terms of foreign gross. Hell nations like China just banned Hip Hop from TV.

Can’t wait. Now that Disney is buying Fox I just know a Storm cameo is on the way.

This release is a PROUD MOMENT — for older blacks to celebrate our rise as a people socially, culturally & financially, as well as for younger blacks to see us in our original regal form, as well as existing in that superhero, conquering all element!

The film overall will outperform ALL other Marvel productions that have been released within the past 7-10 years. WE HAVE BOX OFFICE POWER — “Get Out”, “Girls Trip”, “Hidden Figures”, “Straight Outta Compton”, etc.

    THIS IS OUR TIME!

this is a laugh, first that list is pathetic
second hidden figures and get out had a very large white audience.
third black panther might get a boost from the black community but will make majority of its box office total from the in built marvel audience

It´s not going to outgross Avengers and Avengers 2. You really don´t know anything about film industry. Anyway all these Marvel releases and most comic book filcks in general are average blockbusters, and adjusted by inflation most are not even that successful.

        You’re still on the bullsh*+ juice I see…

Once again, no it will not. At best we’re seeing Ant-man or Doctor Strange numbers dosmestically. But foreign gross is what brings in the real bacon, and this movie won’t fare to well overseas with an all black cast. Get Out, Detroit and others didn’t fare too well either remember and with nations like China banning hip hop from television a genre has been heavily promoted in all the BP trailers, doesn’t bode well from BP.
