The words “she ready” can routinely be heard from comedienne Tiffany Haddish. And based on how fast her star is rising, she most definitely will need to be.
Following breakout success in summer smash ‘Girls Trip,’ the 38-year-old has been inundated with offers – the latest of which comes courtesy of Groupon.

Per the Hollywood Reporter, the star is officially new the face of the deal giant and will appear in their high-profile commercial during the Super Bowl next month.
The pairing is proof of the power of the internet.
See Haddish’s interview with Jimmy Kimmel (during the ‘Girls Trip’ promo run) saw her her re-tell a hilarious story about using a Groupon offer for a swamp tour with Jada Pinkett and Will Smith. The segment went viral and…well…here we are.
Speaking in a statement, Haddish joked that the deal is well overdue:
“Nobody knows Groupon like I know Groupon. I’ve been speaking out for them for years. In fact, I should have already been their spokesperson. I’ve invested lots of money into buying Groupon deals, and it’s about time I got an even bigger return on my investment than just saving money at my favorite local businesses.”
The partnership will see Haddish recommend some of her favorite Groupon categories and offers.
Groupon chief marketing officer Vinayak Hegde expressed that the company is ectatic to work with the performer, saying:
“Tiffany’s award-winning talent and well-known passion for our brand make her the perfect choice to serve as the face of Groupon.”
Look out for the 30-second TV spot during the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl game on February 4th.
