The verdict is in: Bill Cosby has been found guilty of aggravated indecent assault against Andrea Constand.
The Philadelphia jury deliberated for 14 hours, as they combed through the arguments made in the second trail pertaining to the 2004 incident.
Last summer, the original case collapsed due to a deadlock and a mistrial was declared.
Cosby walked free then but wasn’t so lucky this go round.
The disgraced comedian, who did not take to the stand during the retrial, watched as new evidence was dissected about the assault.
Said evidence included the testimony of five other women who claim Cosby drugged and raped them. This was allowed so as for prosecutors to establish a pattern of “bad behavior.” The women, along with Constand, are a few of the several dozens who have come forward alleging sexual assault from ‘The Cosby Show’ star.
Stay tuned for news on sentencing.
Cosby, who faces up to 10 years for EACH of the three charges he’s been convicted of (30 years in total), lashed out in an expletive-laden rant after District Attorney Kevin Steele requested that the judge to revoke his bail following the verdict.
The prosecution claimed that Cosby is a flight risk due to his private jet.
Cosby then shouted, “He doesn’t have a plane, you a–hole!”
