Sony Pictures has revealed that it has committed to creating a movie based on the life of the performer Halsey.

The entertainer has teamed up with the company to build a movie they hope, according to sources close to them, will do for her what ‘8 Mile’ did for Eminem.
Deadline reveals that Sony met the star to discuss the possibility of her starring in one of their movies but decided to honour her with her own story with the help of Palak Patel who they’ve employed to oversee the picture.
A due date is yet to be set.
