Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Officially Marry In Culturally Diverse Royal Wedding Ceremony

Published: Saturday 19th May 2018 by Sam

It’s official! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are husband and wife.

The born royal and US actress (famed for her role in ‘Suits’) tied the knot in a ceremony that will go down in the history books.

Hosted at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, the wedding was attended by notable names from the realms of royalty, celebrity, and politics. They included Oprah Winfrey, Serena Williams, Idris Elba, George Clooney, as well as David and Victoria Beckham.

Much ado has been made about the progressiveness of the union, given Markle’s biracial heritage, and and the ceremony was sure to reflect that.

Reverend Michael Curry delivered an impassioned sermon – which saw him quote Martin Luther King and reference slavery – in a message that stressed the power of love.

Elsewhere, a gospel choir raised the roof with a stirring performance of Ben E. King’s ‘Stand By Me’ and 19-year-old cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason delivered a stunning piece.

The preached that. Thank God I wasn’t at that wedding. I would’ve stood up and shouted “You better preach, preacha” LMBO. They would’ve kicked me out of there, cause I would’ve been acting too black

  9. I HATE WHYYTE N BLACCK BITCHEZZZZ both not ish May 19, 2018

Do you have to mention that it’s culturally-diverse wedding ceremony

Just because there are black people there you have to mention that there are black people in the wedding you people are obsessed with their culture

They had *chuch* all up and through Windsor Castle. I don’t know if the Windors were ready for all that. I loved it. I was underwhelmed by both gowns, which were both slightly too loose, but I think royal protocol was behind that, b/cI know the British royals do not wear bare shoulders and arms in church.
