Dr. Dre is to honour the life of the entertainer Marvin Gaye with a movie set to lift the lid on his life, love and the day he was killed by his envious and abusive father.
Dre has bagged the rights to use the singer’s music to build a biopic set to spill the beans on the singer’s remarkable life with the full approval of his family.
Interesting, as Dre is represented by the same legal firm Robin Thicke and Pharell Williams employed to fight the Gaye family during their recent legal battle over stolen music .
As for a due date? It’s still early days for the project so that’s yet to be locked in.

Explore his dad as a cross dresser and Marvin being bi-sexual or bust!
I think they should explore his dad as gay and a cross dresser. There is enough footage out there to justify the story without risk of lawsuit. Now as far as Marvin being bisexual they could very lightly hint at it without risk of a lawsuit but any further and his kids will likely sue and likely win due to lack of footage or proof justifying he was really bisexual.

He needs to get Usher to play Marvin. He’s the only male singer that’s s*** enough to pull it off.
I disagree. Usher is too short! Maxwell is about the same height as Marvin, equally goodlooking, and can sing just as well as Usher.
Will they include the part where Marvin got fuched by Marlon Brando?
