Report: Rosie O’Donell Joins ‘The Talk’ / Replaces Julie Chen

Published: Wednesday 26th Sep 2018 by David

Rosie O’Donell, formerly of ‘The View‘, is set to take over its lesser-known rival ‘The Talk’ after one of its hosts Julie Chen was forced to leave the show amidst her husband’s sexual abuse allegations.

Julie’s husband Les Moonves ran CBS which houses ‘Talk’ but was forced to leave his role after several women accused him of sexual harassment.

Stepping in to replace Julie?

‘The Daily Mail’ reports…

Multiple sources tell that a long list of names is currently being bandied about, but there is one woman who seems to have emerged as the leading contender at this point – Rosie O’Donnell.

‘She has a proven track record, from her own show to her time on The View, and despite being polarizing she brings in viewers,’ once source told of the reason executives are eyeing the former daytime host.

That same source also added that O’Donnell is great at ‘creating moments’ which would guarantee more press coverage for the show now in its ninth season.

Please NO! Her talk show was a good show but since then she has gone crazy as was proven by her time on the View. The Talk will lose most of their loyal viewers if this nut is hired.
