Jay-Z & Malorie Blackman Ready TV Adaptation Of ‘Noughts & Crosses’

Malorie Blackman‘s ‘Noughts & Crosses‘ is heading to television via her new friend Jay-Z.

Good news below…

The book was released in 2001 and shaped the lives of many of the young adults it was penned for. Now, it is to reach a new generation with a Roc Nation/Participant Media-backed TV adaptation and a soundtrack to match.

Where it is to air? The BBC.

Participant shared…

When we saw ‘Noughts & Crosses,’ we were captivated immediately. Music and popular culture are huge parts of the fabric of the show, and we couldn’t be more excited that Roc Nation is joining the team.

Roc Nation feels the same way…

We are thrilled to partner with Mammoth Screen and Participant Media on this series, which explores issues of race and discrimination through such a provocative and unexpected lens.

We look forward to seeing what Jay and co do with the compelling story.

Why not just post a pic of Jay-Z? So pressed to post a pic of the Queen.
