The word above is the only way to describe the wave of positive reviews Lady Gaga has earned for her stellar performance in the latest telling of the ‘A Star is Born‘ story.
Now, as talk of Oscar glory heats up for the multi-talented artist, her fans have learned just how well the movie is set to fare this weekend.
Good and bad news below…
The good news is that Gaga and Bradley Cooper are to see the brilliant picture earn around $30 million in its opening weekend…good news when one takes its $36 million budget into consideration.
The bad news is that this number sits considerably lower than the $70 million ‘Venom’ is expected to lap up during the same period with help from the $100 million budget it bagged from Sony to bring director Ruben Fleischer‘s vision to fruition.

And that’s with Gaga’s Monsters creating fake social media profiles falsely dogging Venom as a horrible movie then mention going to see A Star is Born! There’s always some kind of scandal whenever Gaga comes back to the scene!

‘Venom’ is from the Marvel Universe, it would have outsold any movie that came out with it. Regardless, $30 million is an amazing opening weekend for any non-action franchise film, so props to Gaga and all involved.
Yet haters poked fun at Burlesque selling what it did and it sold around the same opening weekend.

A superhero movie doesn´t have anything to do with this other type of film. If anything this is looking very very good success wise. Not that often a song that is not pure pop stays for these many days on top of itunes charts. The soundtrack will be talked about more than many of us had thought.
