In a poignant message shared on social media, the songbird confirmed that “things didn’t work out.” She went on to add that “the healing that needs to take place is a must.”

I never thought this would work. Tbh, he dodged a bullet. I don’t think she’s ready for marriage to anyone right now. Her issues and recovery are still too fresh. I think she needs time for everything in her mind and spirit to settle before moving forward with another relationship.
Her mental instability, extreme self confidence issues and constant cancelling of the wedding, turned him off. He lost interest.

They were not meant to be married. Several things caused me pause from seeing a few episodes.
1. The meeting of the family- key family members who he says he respects, having had already proposed to her
2. The way in which they disagreed. Their communication skills lack empathy
3. The backpedaling of setting a date. They are not a young couple, so if God told you , you’re to wed. Waiting 2 plus years or more while saying you also desire children is problematic
4. They just were not compatible
