In the mood for another edition of Retro Rewind? Of course you are.

Today, we hit the number 1995 into our time machine as it is the year Halle Berry and Jimmy Smits released the television movie ‘Solomon & Sheba’ to offer the world a fresh look at the Biblical story.

In it, Berry portrays the Yemeni Sheba alongside Smits who plays Solomon with help from Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Nadia Sawahla and Hugh Quarshie.

‘Losing Isaiah’, the movie in which Halle stars in alongside Jessica Lange, was released in the same year and joined ‘Sheba’ to build hype for her stellar performance in the thriller ‘The Rich Man’s Wife.’
